Jacobsson is a film, photo, and installation artist. Born 1967 in Visby.

She graduated from The Academy of Fine Arts in Trondheim Norway 2000. Jacobsson has had several exhibitions/screenings in Norway and abroad. She works with videodesign for dance, music and theatre performances and she is a lecturer at different schools in Oslo. Jacobsson received Guaranteed Income for Artists from the Norwegian Government in 2012.

During Trøndelag exhibition in 2016, she recieved the honorable title NTNU artist 2016/2017.

Jacobsson has exhibited at Nikolaj Kunsthall in Copenhagen, Museet for Fotokunst Brandts in Odense, Luleå Konsthall, Bomuldsfabriken Arendal and at several international filmfestivals etc.

In her exhibition Homage the artist Sabina Jacobsson presents four short films paying homage to Ingmar Bergman, David Hockney, Arnold Haukeland and David Lynch. Moving between memory, place and perception, the films explore artistic legacy and human experience through poetic imagery, experimental storytelling and personal encounters with iconic artists. The films are part of a larger exhibition featuring video works and physical artworks by Sabina Jacobsson.
